Furreal.

I really don't think there could have been a better way to reign in 2016 than spontaneously venturing up into the mountains and taking some crazy incredible photos with some of my favorite people.

When a new year rolls around, most people get excited for new beginnings and make resolutions. Me on the other hand, I am just pumped for all these 2016 fashion forecasts and trends to come to pass. So for today's post, I thought I'd share a few things that I am looking forward to.

Since these pictures obviously involve me wearing a giant fury monster, I thought fur would be a fitting topic to begin with. I love fur. Fur is so fabulous. When the fur vests started getting really popular a couple of winters ago, I didn't think the trend would hang around for long. I'm not complaining by any means, like I said, I love fur, but even though the trend is still going strong, it evolves over time. What it looks like for 2016, is colorful fur.

WWD mentions, "Resort’s most notable furs channeled a fun, young vibe via novelty cuts and vibrant palettes." What colors might those palettes include though? Glad you asked, that brings us to the next topic... (continue reading below)

The color of the year! Whoop whoop!

As some of you may know, Marsala was 2015's color, a strong and brilliant choice if you ask me. But as for 2016, Pantone has mixed it up quite a bit. This year's colors are Rose Quartz and Serenity. Ooooo fancy. I will be honest with you all, I have never been a pinky girl... so naturally Rose Quartz is not my favorite, but I do like what I've seen of Serenity thus far. So here's just a little taste of what you will probably be seeing quite often throughout the year.

Now I know this post has been a little lengthier than others, but with the new year and so many things to share, ya'll are just gonna have to grin and bare it.

Since the pictures from the mountain were so incredible, I didn't want to just show everyone my face, I wanted to share the pictures of these other gorgeous girls that I love so dearly. They make every trip a blast and I am so thankful that we got to experience this crazy adventure together.
