I cannot believe a year has passed since BLINK Conference 2015 in Austin, Texas. This year's BLINK was absolutely incredible. Every year, the conference seems to get better and better. The line up of speakers was unbelievable, the hotel was swanky as can be, and of course, it doesn't get much better than being in Palm Springs.
This year's conference was full of changes for me personally. Last year I simply attended to model for one of the photographers leading a breakout session. This year, I was a part of staff and got to sit in on the conference sessions. I took away an overwhelming amount of knowledge and inspiration from the conference which I will expand on in a future post. I feel so very blessed to have the opportunity to serve and support Latasha (Ike & Tash) throughout her conference.
I just wanted to take the time to say thank you to Tash, for all that she has done for me. Without her, I wouldn't even have this blog and most certainly wouldn't be where I am today; mentally, spiritually, and honestly I probably wouldn't even know what I wanted for my future. Thank you for continually pushing me to do the things that I don't even realize I'm capable of. Thank you for loving me and sewing into my life like you do, and thank you for seeing something in me, and putting your precious time and effort into helping me see it too. Love you so very much Tash.
With all of the changes, a couple of things still remained. I'm the most seasoned alumni, so I often am the "mom" of the girls, (which I don't mind at all) AND, I did indeed get to model again. This year, I was Amanda Holloway's model for the breakout session she lead. The first 3 pictures are hers, the rest is a mixture from the BLINK attendees including Olivia Renee, Sarah, and Holly. Thank you ladies for the beautiful pictures, I enjoyed swinging around on a hammock and basking in the sun in this amazing giant straw hat for you all.
